Method 1: System Restore

  • Start off by clicking on the Start menu.
  • Now, advance to All Programs.
  • Locate and click on the System Restore icon.

Method 2: Windows Updates

  • Initially, click on the Windows Start menu.

  • After that hit a click on Uninstall a Program option.

  • After uninstalling QuickBooks delete remaining QuickBooks files and folders.
  • To ensure a clean installation, delete the following folders (if they exist) from your computer:
    • C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks
    • C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks
    • C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Intuit\QuickBooks (Note: Replace "Username" with your actual username)
  • After performing all the above steps, restart your computer.
